Are there any restrictions to hireing a car in UK?
You must be over 25 to hire a car with Rent-O-Ride in the UK. There are a few exceptions – for some models, drivers over 23 can pay a young driver surcharge to hire a car.
Certain heavy vehicles also have higher age limits – that’s why we ask your age before we ask you to choose a vehicle.
You must have held a full driving licence for one year at the time of rental. For certain high-performance and heavy vehicles, this period is longer and you must have fewer than seven penalty points on your licence.
